Welcome to Knockout City, the dodgeball multiplayer game, coming to Xbox Series X on May 21st | S (through backward compatibility with improvements), Xbox One and PC.

Knockout City is full of bright-eyed, bushy thugs like you ready to hit opponents with balls in a friendly (mostly friendly) dodgebrawl competition. Get comfortable with endless cosmetic options and get to work right away. It takes a careful combination of teamwork, positioning and timing to outwit your opponents: surrender to allies for a quick hit from a new angle, throw trick shots to blow them around corners or over walls, or use wrong throws to trip their catches.

Anytime you’re looking for projectiles, you can stop, drop, and clump together to become a weapon for your crew. Throw a fully charged ally for an ultimate throw that lands hard in an instant KO explosion!

The dodgeballs you see in Knockout City are not your dodgeball playgrounds. They are a little more dangerous and some of them are powerful specialty balls. The bomb ball will start ticking as soon as you pick it up. The cage ball traps your enemy in ball form and lets you toss them off the map or, even more embarrassingly, into their own teammates. Use the moon ball to take your brawl to new heights with its low gravity effect, or throw it to throw opponents into the stratosphere.

Knockout City

Our town is a bustling place, and every locale brings fresh mechanics to re-mix your brawl. The stormy winds of Rooftop Rumble give your gliders a boost and let you float between skyscrapers to throw balls at unsuspecting opponents. The knockout roundabout is the busy heart of the city and is evidenced by the constant traffic that can be used as both a means of transportation and cover. When you go to Concussion Yard, put on a helmet … though it won’t protect you from that wrecking ball. Seriously, who got this thing going?

More cards and special balls will be released in the coming months. So stay up to date!

Knockout City

If you argue with the best you have to check out the part. Knockout City is full of cosmetic options. Your outfit, hair, body type, glider, taunt, and knockout effect are just a few of the parts that you can customize. You can even choose your reaction for the end of a game. Bad loser? Amiable winner? It’s your decision.

In Knockout City, standing out is just as important as standing with your crew. Each member has the same logo on their back, and you’ll be flying in matches in the same sleek hovercar.

Knockout City

Knockout City will be available on May 21st in the Xbox Store on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One released. With full crossplay, you can meet up with friends no matter what system they are on. At the start everyone has the opportunity to test dodgebrawling for free during the test phase.

My colleagues and I here at Velan Studios have spent the past four years building Knockout City from scratch – and I’ll tell you, these buildings are tall. We and our partners at EA Originals can’t wait to get it into your hands. But the information here is just the tip of the dodgeball iceberg. See you in town, thug.
