A total of five hunting dogs and several other items were found in the belly of a massive alligator, according to The BizPac Review.

“Ned McNeely brought this 12 ‘long, 445 pound private landgator in this morning!”

“We don’t usually open our stomachs, but we did today.”

“It contained 5 dog tags, 1 cartridge case, 1 spark plug, lots of turtle shells and several bobcat claws.”

“Two of the tags were legible and a phone number was still working.”

“The owner said he signed this lease 24 years ago and it came from his deer dogs. Very interesting.”

People in the south are constantly losing pets to alligators – the hunting club is sad, probably a bird dog that jumped into its territory to find a bird

They also found license plates
Does that mean they ate a car?

From the BizPac test:

Cordray’s, a South Carolina company that offers natural farm beef, game processing, and taxidermy, has shared some photos of a massive alligator, weighing 445 pounds, that was killed at the behest of a landowner along the Edisto River who was part of the Alligator-laden ACE’s basin estuary in counties Beaufort, Colleton and Charleston, reported WCIV from Charleston.

And while Cordray said they don’t normally check the stomachs of alligators brought into their store, because of its size, they made an exception for that alligator, and there were five dog tags among the contents.

The man told Cordray that, according to WCIV, he lost a hunting dog while hunting leasehold properties near the location where the alligator was killed.

Alligators can be legally hunted in South Carolina for a month in the fall if they can get permission through a lottery.

That being said, landowners and property managers can get permission from the state to legally euthanize pesky alligators on their property, the article says. This task can be outsourced to a wildlife control specialist.
